  Private Golf

Resting in the shadows of the Grand Teton, the golf club at Huntsman Springs designed by world-renowned architect David McLay Kidd and built by Highland Golf Services will be an inland golf course fitting the natural terrain and landscape of the native habitat.

The spectacular setting is ideal for golf and the design relies heavily on the existing wetland habitat.  In an effort to produce a cohesive relationship between residential, recreational, and natural components throughout, an additional 80 acres of wetlands will be constructed to meander through the golf course.

The course will feature a private clubhouse with practice facilities, a restaurant and a full service retail shop.  The construction of the course is well ahead of schedule with a late 2009 opening possible.

"Modern equipment available to designers and greenkeepers allow practically anyone to create perfectly immaculate golf courses. As a result, golfers have almost come to expect that their fields of play will be lush and green and manicured…in other words, bland, uninspiring and cookie-cutter. We, on the other hand, embrace Nature’s imperfections. We seek to take golfers on an adventure marked by nuance and subtlety and unpredictability. Our goal is to meld the best of modern technology with old school ingenuity. We believe we have accomplished this at Huntsman Springs."
